Drat. That pie-in-jar thing is actually cool? I did it out of necessity -- because I knew I wouldn't be staying in the US long often, or bake frequently enough, to justify the purchase of baking tins and bowls on my straitened means. And so I used high-resistance glassware and china to bake small lunch pies (savoury) and dessert in.
