Are your beans outside? If so... be prepared to cover them whenever it gets cold at night. They're not at all frost-hardy :( That said, I sow my beans underneath a pre-positioned trellis. That way I don't have to fuss about it and risk being late installing it.I sowed my peas this weekend (under a trellis net) and also my potatoes, in a new bed built almost entirely with rabbit poo. I seeded another bed with a mix of lettuce, spinach, radish, carrot, and beet seeds... we'll see how it does!
No, they're in little compostable seed starter pots because it's been cold enough that I don't want to hurt them.So I'll probably work on getting a trellis sooner rather than later, and hope for the best.
